Camp Limit will be (40) Children. All children must be pre registered and paid for before attending.Any child that has displayed any symptoms of sickness should not attend.Any child that displays symptoms of sickness while attending will be sent home.Our camp will also have scheduled regular cleanings taking place to help prevent any spread of infectious germs.Children attending are asked to bring with them (2) Snacks and a bagged lunch for the day.

5:00 PM - 6:00 PM    Youth Fencing - Level 1 and 2 - Late Winter
Foil Fencing for Youth (Level 1)Youth are introduced to the martial art and sport of foil fencing. Swordplay has been a martial art for centuries and is today the modern sport of fencing. Fencing is fun, mentally challenging and great exercise for kids. This six week, introductory class in foil fencing will teach kids the basic skills of fencing: safety, basic footwork, blade work, and essential rules of play for bouting. All fencing equipment will be provided for the course. What youth should wear: wear pants covering legs (jeans, wind pants, sweats are fine. lycra, tights or yoga pants are too thin), wear athletic shoes (no sandals or flip-flops). A water bottle is recommended.Fencing for Youth (Level 2)This six week Level 2 class is designed to improve kids skills and reinforce basic skills of foil, epee or saber fencing including: low-line and circular parries, phrasing, preparations on the blade, next level footwork, and bouting strategies. 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM    Youth Fencing - Level 1 and 2 - Late Winter
Foil Fencing for Youth (Level 1)Youth are introduced to the martial art and sport of foil fencing. Swordplay has been a martial art for centuries and is today the modern sport of fencing. Fencing is fun, mentally challenging and great exercise for kids. This six week, introductory class in foil fencing will teach kids the basic skills of fencing: safety, basic footwork, blade work, and essential rules of play for bouting. All fencing equipment will be provided for the course. What youth should wear: wear pants covering legs (jeans, wind pants, sweats are fine. lycra, tights or yoga pants are too thin), wear athletic shoes (no sandals or flip-flops). A water bottle is recommended.Fencing for Youth (Level 2)This six week Level 2 class is designed to improve kids skills and reinforce basic skills of foil, epee or saber fencing including: low-line and circular parries, phrasing, preparations on the blade, next level footwork, and bouting strategies. Every 15 minutes after 5:45pm, will add an extra $5.00 to that day.  These FUN, encouraging and interactive programs are designed for children (Kindergarten through 8th grade) to provide safety, enrichment and healthy exercise to keep your child active!AEP participants are transported by bus from Old Town Elementary and Leonard Middle School directly to our front door. Van transportation is available for Bradley (Viola Rand School), Milford (Dr. Lewis Libby School), and Orono (Asa Adams School) Schools. We begin our daily program with a quick “check in” about their day at school and provide a healthy snack for our campers to fuel up – then let the games/activities begin! WE KEEP OUR KIDS BUSY WHILE THEY ARE HERE! Whether it is a special guest, programs through our UMaine partnerships, “Healthy Hometown” activities, or simply a quiet place to get help with homework, we feel that our experienced staff brings safety and encouragement at every turn.
